Join us for some Magic the Gathering at the Card Show at Barbara Celjska 2026. We'll have tables open for Magic during the event, so drop by to play a game, trade cards or learn how to play.

Casual Commander

Our Commander tables are for casual games, at roughly preconstructed deck power level (Brackets 1–3). Bring your own deck or borrow one of ours.

• Borrow a deck: Several Commander decks are available to borrow at our tables
• Proxies: Any number allowed
• Surprise variant: Want to shake up your pod? We'll have an optional fun game variant to try. We're keeping it a surprise.

New to Magic?

Never played before? Come to our tables and we'll teach you. We have decks ready, so you don't need any cards or experience.

Promos

We'll be handing out promos at our tables while they last.

Reality Fracture draft (maybe)

If enough players are interested, we may also run a Reality Fracture draft. Don't plan your day around it, because the focus is casual Commander. If you'd want to draft, let us know in advance so we can gauge interest.

Practical info

• When: Saturday, 31 October 2026. The Card Show opens at 11:00 and the rest of the festival at 12:00.
• Where: Card Show section, Hala E, Celjsko sejmišče, Celje
• Entry: You need a festival ticket to get in. The Card Show ticket (6 EUR) covers only the Card Show. Tickets and the full festival programme
• Playing at our tables: Free

Star Trek x MTG prerelease.

Prerelease Pack contents:

• 6 Star Trek x MTG Boosters
• 1 Foil Promo Card
• 1 Spindown die

New to our prerelease events and wonder what they look like?

• You'll pay the registration fee and receive a Prerelease Pack, which you'll use to construct a sealed deck
• Deck construction portion takes about 50 minutes. You'll have plenty of time
• Basic Lands are available for you to grab at the event
• We usually play 3 or 4 rounds of best of 3 matches with siderboarding between games
• You are free to adjust your deck between matches
• We recommended you install the official Wizards of the Coast Companion App (Android / iOS) to participate in the event. You should use your Magic Arena account to login if you have one, or create a new Wizards account. The Companion App is used for submitting match results each round and if you're using Magic Arena, you'll usually also get some additional goodies deposited to your Arena account.

Parking

After 3:00 PM during weekdays and even earlier on weekends there's plenty of free parking space available here or closer but a bit more crowded.
